Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book or pay for tutoring with Math with Flynn, a business name of VisiFlux LLC (“I”, “me”). By booking a session, buying a package or using this website, you agree to them. If the student is under 18, the parent or guardian who books agrees on the student’s behalf.

Sessions

Online sessions run on Google Meet with a shared digital whiteboard. You need a device with a camera, microphone and a reliable internet connection.
In-person sessions take place at a public library study room or the student’s home in my service area. For students under 18 meeting at home, a parent or guardian must be present in the home for the whole session.
Sessions start and end at the booked time. If a student arrives late, the session still ends on time.
The free 20-minute consult has no obligation to book further sessions.

Prices and payment

Current prices are listed on the pricing section of this site. Prices may change, but a change never affects sessions or packages you have already paid for.
Single sessions are paid when you book. Packages and the Finals Bootcamp are paid in full up front.
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Other payment methods are accepted only by agreement.

Cancellations and rescheduling

You can cancel or reschedule for free up to 24 hours before the session starts. Cancelled single sessions paid in advance are refunded in full.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, and no-shows, are charged in full (or count as a used package session).
I will waive the late fee once for a genuine emergency or illness. Just let me know as soon as you can.
If I have to cancel, you can reschedule at no cost or receive a full refund for that session.

Packages

An 8-session package is valid for 4 months from the date of purchase. Sessions not used by then expire.
Package sessions can be shared between siblings in the same household.
If you need to stop early, I will refund the unused balance after charging the sessions already used at the regular hourly rate.

Finals Bootcamp

The price is per student. Class sizes are capped, so a spot is confirmed once payment is received.
Full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before the first bootcamp session. After that, I can move the student to another bootcamp group or turn the payment into tutoring credit, but cannot give a refund.
If I cancel a bootcamp group, you receive a full refund.

Academic honesty

I teach students how to do the work. I will not complete graded assignments, take-home tests, online quizzes or exams for a student, or help in any way that breaks a school’s honor code.

Results

I work hard to help every student improve, but grades and test scores depend on many things outside my control, including the student’s effort and practice between sessions. I cannot guarantee a particular grade or score.

Conduct and safety

Sessions should be respectful on both sides. I may end a session or stop working with a family if behavior is abusive or unsafe, and will refund any unused prepaid sessions. For students under 18, I communicate with a parent or guardian included on messages about scheduling and progress.

Website and materials

Worksheets, notes and other materials I share are for the student’s personal use. Please do not resell or publish them. Website content is provided for general information.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim related to tutoring is limited to the amount you paid for the sessions involved, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Collin County, Texas.

Changes

I may update these terms. The version posted here, with its date, applies to new bookings and purchases.
